We hire on an as needed basis to fulfill staffing minimums, however we accept volunteers regularly. 

Volunteers are preferred to have a minimum of firefighting experience, and certifications applicable to fire and EMS are always a plus.

We operate on a 48/96 schedule with a Chief officer Monday through Friday 8a-5p.

We offer benefit packages to full time employees that include medical and dental insurance, and we are working on a retirement package through TCDRS.
